Mom locked teen in closet, cops say – The cops in Costa Mesa, California say that a mom locked her teen daughter in closet for 6 hours. The police arrested the mother, whose name was withheld, for allegedly locking her 13-year-old in a closet. She is also accused of hitting the girl with a stick because the child earned bad grades.
The 32-year-old woman is charged with one misdemeanor count of child abuse, Costa Mesa police told the Daily Pilot, which has decided not to name the mother to protect the identity of her daughter, a minor.
Authorities alleged that on Oct. 29 the mother hit her 13-year-old daughter three times with a stick and then locked her in a closet for six hours as punishment for “bad” grades, said Costa Mesa Police Sgt. Phil Myers.
He did not know the grades the girl earned.

ReplyDeleteone time i had to be locked in my room all day its not that bad really and they used sticks in the old days so i dont really see how the mom is all that wrong she should be allowed to punish her daughter.she might have been to mean but i still dont think she is that wrong

ReplyDeleteI think it is sending a message saying that some parents are take their children's grade either to much or not at all so the grades affect us even if your parents don't care but the teachers just give it to the student and that's why they pay the consequences but time its a lot for example this story and while were just living our life we don't whats happening around us the news tells us but not all of it they hide things from us to and they just make you believe them and make you believe things.For example we didn't know what happened in wall street until the protest happened.
