Gathering of Old Men Chapters 6 and 7

In Chapters 6 and 7 more men are gathering at Mathu's to proclaim that they killed Beau. Before they arrive they make two major stops, first at the sugar cane field and the second at the graveyard.

  • Explain using 3-4 complete sentences why these two stops are significant. What happened? What do these stops symbolize?
  • Also list two themes in Chapter 6-7 and explain using 3-4 complete sentences why you selected them.
* Examples of themes: love, hate, freedom, manhood, womanhood, peace

  1. Themes-Hate, Love I chose these because they have love for each other or they wouldn't be there for each other.

They are significant because they are helping each other.
